Sharpshooter was created in 1981 specifically to represent freelance artists; an idea that was new to Canada. Clients continue to call on Sharpshooter, confident they can get great options for illustrators, photographers, designers, lettering artists, CGI or retouchers to plug into a project. That's good enough for many clients; many others now need more...

The business has changed a lot over recent years; that's not news. Increased pressure on ad agencies to produce more with less. Top creative teams cut loose from the big multi-nationals just to save money for head office. Clients re-evaluating how they were being treated by the large agencies found that often they could get better service simply from a senior creative team without the costly, wasteful layers of traditional big agency methods.
This new awareness resulted in sprouting many healthy new small creative shops. These smaller shops and freelance creatives are most efficient and clients best served if they can hire talent on demand; just-in-time style of thinking. Not having a big payroll is key. Being able to access suppliers without spending valuable creative time on it is also key. Ideally a virtual company where you only pay for what you need when you need it is the answer. Of course this thinking isn't wasted on the big agencies either.
was formed as an extension of Sharpshooter to fill this need. Think of
as an extension of you to collaborate and source the suppliers you need; negotiate and manage the print or motion project.
